Here we are with the one game that lived up to be the one game worse than Sonic 06. It's Sonic Genesis everybody. Sonic had a pretty sad 15th anniversary considering these two abysmal things came out. Sonic Genesis is basically a remake of the original Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Genesis except with the added Spindash form Sonic 2. So this game is obviously just as fun, or even better than the original being on a more advanced system, right? WRONG! This game is filled with glitches, has terrible music remakes, and has so, much, lag. It completely craps all over the original version! Sonic can glitch onto practically anything and get stuck there for a while! Spikes, walls, ceilings, you name it! Sonic can glitch onto it. Due to the crap ton of lag, and Sonic's floaty as heck jump, this makes Labyrinth Zone, already the most intolerable level from the original, even more annoying. They even screwed up the drowning music! The freaking drowning music! In the original it would give you a fright, and have you freak out running around searching for air. Now it's just bland! How hard could it be to change the format of a game to make it playable for a better console and just add the Spindash? Not very much I'd imagine. So how would they screw that, and even the music, almost always the most attracting feature in a Sonic game up?! (At least it was better than Chronicles The Dark Brotherhood for the DS [even more shameful towards the Dark Brotherhood considering the DS is so much more powerful than the DS. Then again a Sonic RPG was a pretty bad idea in the first place].) The game is slow paced because of all the lag, and a completely inferior version of the original. There is simply nothing more to say! This game is bad, and if you want to know how bad, then be my guest and go play it. It's your funeral. The dark age of Sonic, consisting of games such as Secret Rings which was crap to play because of unresponsive tilt controls and lack of upgrades to make the gameplay tolerable. Who's bright idea was it to put Sonic in the Arabian Knights anyway?! I'm done. I'm just glad it's over. (Hopefully I didn't just jinx that.)
